Excelent History

I'm not sure if I've reviewed this already, but I'd just like to say that this story is incredible. My only wish is that it was... well, shorter, but that's a gripe I have with a lot of great fanfiction-that's just personal preference, though.
Even though I haven't read this story lately, and I haven't read the latest chapters, I still vividly recall the style and presentation of this story to the point that I find myself appreciating Endermen in a way that I doubt most people do. It kind of reminds me of another excellent book/series-the Bartimaeus trilogy. That book is about djinn and spirits and has themes of freedom and love and trust so it's not the same thing, but it does the same thing that your series does for Endermen to spirits. To this day, I find myself cringing a little when people use the word "demon" because of that series, and The Secret Lives of Endermen has inspired a similar level of empathy.

Reading this story in full after stopping years ago at about chapter thirty-three, I'm amazed at just how many authors have used ideas this story "standardized." It's a shame that I can't see what will become of Henri and Mel's baby, as it's been almost two years since an update.
Within the chapters spelling and grammar mistakes remain present here and there, and not to mention some sentences are so long they are almost run-ons. The early chapters were more information-based but they became more plot driven after Herobrine's destruction and appearances. Henri's speculative assertions and Sven's explanations eased as the story pushed, which is a given, but I wished that this could have transpired better. The story seemed to become less about the endermen (the summary doesn't detail any possibilities of a change in the later chapters), and more about the integrated OCs and how they affected the clan.
However this is nit-picking and I wouldn't have stayed around this long if I didn't think the story was interesting. The narrative is easy to understand and not once does the prose ever become boring. I grew attached to a large array of the characters introduced, but there's just so many that some I ignored. I initially fled the story when I saw the chapter within which the author was in, but I returned because I remembered the story from my first reading. The story has a good amount of balance, enabling me to read to the latest chapter.
It was an excellent read. Sure, has a few flaws, but what story doesn't have them?

Please continue I really love this story!

Of course that had to be there. Of course. It is always necessary to continue that joke. 'Removed Herobrine' really wouldn't work for this story, but that fits.

My new favorite quote: "Is it just me or does the fact that Endermen consider Humans wild and tamable [seem] a tad disturbing?"

Yet another of my favorites has updated! Two in one day! Even if it is a short chapter, it's good to see something for this story! I'm sad to say that it will be some time before I can start on my own Minecraft fanfic again and somehow make it coincide with yours. Anyway, hope to see another update soon and I also hope your holiday season is going well!
