You should make a sequel of a sort detailing how Mycroft cleared Sherlock's name ;)

Great story, thank you for sharing. I don't know what season 3 will bring but I hope it will resolve some questions we have of Mycroft's involvement with telling Jim about Sherlock's childhood, and/or with Sherlock's final plan.

From canon, Mycroft was part of the get away plan, but never knowing the truth at the falls. The line you wrote from Mycroft's POV made me gasp with pain, "What hurt most though, a fact which cut him deeply but he dared not think it, was the simple horror that: in his darkest hour, his little brother had found another to help him." Sherlock can be so cruel to his brother *sigh

This is my favorite relationship to explore. You've done a spectacular job.
