| Guest chapter 16 . 11/1/2018 Only just found and read this story. Normally don’t enjoy the ones set in Boston, but was totally gripped by this one. Never did work outc completely the Garrett family and certainly didn’t guess who ‘done it’ but you so got the Lancer family characterisation right. Those brothers, and Murdoch’s pride and love for them fully matured. Thank you for your supreme effort in bringing this to fruition. Marilyn |

| sister carrie chapter 16 . 12/2/2017 Howdy - this is one of the very best Lancer stories I've ever read, and I've read many good ones. (Life's too short to waste time on bad fiction!) I can't think of one character who was a cardboard cutout. I especially loved the details of the train ride, the Hodges, the multi-dimensional portrayal of the brothers, Harlan putting Murdoch in the Blue Room - and so much of the dialogue. Thank you for hanging with the story for 20 years. |
