I didn't realized I was holding my breath when I was rereading this and just after then last chapter I ugh this is beautifully painful. You're plot is somewhat similar from what I would imagine post gsd and I like how so concise and simple yet so heavy each chapter you made.

I haven't seen you for a while. Glad you are back with awesome chapter in hand. This is definitely my current favourite out of all chapters. You easily depicts the intensity of Athrun's feeling and how he is deeply hurt knowing the fact that Cagalli might have moved on. Please continue as I would love to see how you would end this.

'resemblance'- does this pertain to how the head of Cagalli's security resembled Athrun before? how it was supposed to be Athrun by her side and receiving her grateful smile, if only things haven't changed? hehe
I also wonder why all the chapters' title starts with R. and why the Title of this story starts with H instead. LOL
and yeah I had to look for synonyms of Homecoming starting with R - reuniting/reconciliation :)
