I can’t believe I’m just now reading this! It’s now one of my favorite post-war pieces... so real and emotional! I love the part when she said how they were being direct with each other now, lol! And the bit about shagging at the end... love that Hermione said it and not him! As always, your characterization is on point!

This is so close to my exact headcanon! I always struggled thinking they'd probably move as fast as possible, but they'd also be so dirty and exhausted that they'd just want to sleep. This is pretty much perfect as to what I think would be an accurate post-battle situation for my OTP. I love this! Your Romione is always to sweet and in character! Thank you for writing!

So I just reread this, and realized I never reviewed it the first time around.

This is gorgeous. All the talk about hoping but not really knowing - that's exactly how I picture these two. I'd imagine there are days as far back as fourth year that one or both of them are sure that there's something between them, but then the doubt creeps in and they push each other away and that's why we had to wait seven ridiculous books for a kiss!

I love the shy, awkward, sexy moments here. Hermione admitting her attraction and Ron being shocked and delighted and all those other emotions is wonderful. Crazy conflicting emotions and exhaustion do lead to admissions like the ones made here, and they were perfect.
