Wow, this is such an amazing story. The way you write Charles's telepathy. The way you write him and Erik. All the funny, clever little touches, like young Charles's thoughts on sex - "vaguely repellent, messy, and clumsy" is so funny, yet poignant at the same time. And the way you worked in Audrey Hepburn!

I absolutely love Charles and Erik's interaction in the later part of this story - how they moved from blind, mad lust for each other to deeper, more meaningful conversation about Charles's determination to stay out of Erik's head, how it effects him during sex, and how they eventually both open up to each other. It's all very sexy but so powerful at the same time. Really wonderful work.

Oh gosh, that was so sweet and loving and beautiful. I adore the way they just, connected and reveled in each others company and love and the sheer awe Erik held at being able to keep Charles close like that. Gosh that kind of connection is just gorgeous and is very much how I would expect a telepath to view sexual relations. That's just, yes, I like this a lot.

Poignant and beautifully done.

I love it - I love how Charles's life was depicted up to this very moment. It doesn't seem fractured like two scenes in an accident but rather, the parts flow seamlessly. I really like this story, And the smut feels too lovely like - and very much needed. Everything is there for a reason not too much, not too little. I absolutely adore this!

This is simply fabulous.

I love pieces like this. You did an incredible job of taking some aspect of Charles and thinking it through, weaving it into his entire life in a way that brings real insight. And it was a great interaction between Charles and Erik; I loved all of it. (also hot.) Nice.

Entering the Sherlock fandom has done things to me. All friends are fair game for shipping, now. They could make up a heterosexual or homosexual couple, anything goes.
