That was beautiful. It's remarkable how you covered so many aspects of their relationship so concisely and bound them together with the shared thread of not talking about it. It's a wonderful character study of them...and your comments about Sasuke changed the poignancy I'd felt to laughter in a heartbeat. Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks so. Heh.
