Hi! I feel bad because most of what I'm about to say isn't going to please you too much. It's an old fic, and it's not terrible, but it's not great. The nurse who is the secretary is never a hospital nurse. The psych ward doesn't allow computers. There would be NO access to anything that anyone could cut with, anywhere. And Dan's doctor would not follow him to the psych ward. The fic has some convention errors, and the dialogue runs together badly.
I still intend to finish it, though, as it is a good fic at heart! Hopefully you could rewrite it (Or I could, as this looks like a fun fic), and it'd be perfect.
