Thanks a lot for this! Other stories of Merlin revealing his magic to Arthur have been good but this one is what I truly imagined it would have been like. All the people are just perfectly in character, in my opinion :)

This was adorable, and I NEED you to write that prequel. I always thought it would be amazing for the Druids to swear fealty to Merlin, then Merlin’s turns around and swears fealty to Arthur, making the Druids swear to Arthur. That would be one of the ways that Merlin could reinforce his loyalty to Arthur.
