i guess, Faulkner is wrong. at least when it comes to this story. theses words aren't heartbreaking at all - they're the opposite, especially for shaken caskett fans.

What a ride that was! Loved the suspense of them walking away from each other with things on the brink of being said. That's good only when there's resolution of course! Wow, the ending scene at Castle's place was fantastic. Those two could do such amazing things with a script like this story. Oh, I enjoyed the quotes too...Lincoln and Faulkner, nice touch.

This is much better than that stupid promo I just watched. I swear. I. Swear. I do not want to watch it, will get so angry to watch it... I already had waited until TODAY to watch this week's episode out of fear. Now I just don't WANT to watch next week's. Grrr.

Anyways, two things I didn't copy that I need to quickly mention that I liked: the black turning beautiful, and the mention of the rose-colored... visions, I think you said? It was the rose-colored part that I liked because it tied this situation with Castle and Alexis' conversation over the smiling pancake. And the black turning beautiful is just a beautiful idea.

But it is this set of lines that I really liked:

He sets the glass down on the counter, too heavily maybe; the chink against the granite echoes sharply in his ears. He glances at it, but it doesn't seemed cracked. Surprisingly.

It's not a glass we're talking about here. Then, on a simpler level, this is the epitome of a metaphor. It's something simple, something a lot of people understand (I do it all the time), but it means something else, and I love it. Love love love it. I totally get it. It's my favorite thing from this whole story.
