I love this story. I find it fascinating, the plot is intruiging and the characters are fun. I don't know if you'll pick this up again but either way it was a great read.

This is my third time re-reading this whole story. I really miss it. I know you're on a hiatus, but I hope you get inspiration soon to update this. There's so much I need to know! lol. I have this theory in my head the Namine was the Queen, but when she died she was reborn as she is in present day. Anyway, I'm still looking forward to an update, whenever that will be. Ahh I think I might be in love with you Dani x) Twisted Lore is absolutely amazing! I have to ask though is Xion in the rapunzel-ish situation, With the stepmother and being trapped/kept in the castle? Mmm I hope Aqua doesn't really hate Terra that would be so sad! I really love the way you mesh all of the princess fairytales together and ship Vanime so sexy. I'm still kinda confused with Wk's ending why ventus! Why? Yay for explaining glamour - it was very well done. I envisioned the magical effect far better than what I imagined while reading Cassandra Clare's works.

Even more spectacular is the way you're drawing all the characters together: Sora, Kairi, Riku, Xion, Terra, Aqua, Vanitas, Roxas, Namine, Ventus... and then people like Joshua, Neku, and Rhyme. It's pretty amazing, the way you weave all those Disney princess stories together - mashing Rapunzel with Cinderella and The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan! There's a lot of creative juice spilling out of this story, I love it!

WAIT WHITE KNIGHT IS FINISHED?

Heya, Dani! Sorry I’ve sort of disappeared. Mainly, I haven’t been using my laptop, but it’ll be fixed soon, so that’s good news! Then we can talk again! And we have a lot to talk about. Hahaha. Like how Captain Hook on Once Upon a Time pretty much was Vanitas in a lot of ways. I swear you’re secretly writing for the show. Anywho, we also need to talk about Game of Thrones, KH, Vocaloid, NaNo… The list goes on and on. LOL. But I’m going to stop rambling and begin this review!

Okay! Let’s start with the Aqua bit! For some reason, it’s giving me a lot of White Knight feels. Probably because of the creepiness of Xehanort. Ugh. Anyway, it’s an all around interesting scene. And Xehanort wanting Aqua to use Darkness?! Gasp! Well, that’s something new! Does she even have any? Seriously, I don’t know. The canon of it was never really clear to me.

Also, I feel like I’m forgetting where the Aqua portion is taking place, but I’m imagining the place in Neverland where you fight Peter Pan as Terra for some reason. I guess it fits since Aqua fights Vanitas in Neverland. Hahaha.

Anywho, something else interesting (that I never really thought of before) is how Aqua actually was relying on strength other than magic for most of this story. That’s crazy! But also cool, and I have to tell you, after playing BbS again, I’m remembering how awesome Aqua’s magic stats are-

Oh! I wrote a story comparing Aqua and Kairi, if you’re interested in reading it. It’s my favorite story I’ve ever written, I think. And I hope (and believe) that Kairi will be a magic Keyblader in KHIII (like Aqua). Back to the topic…

I like the shield thing you came up with for Aqua. On one hand, it’s weird to imagine her using something other than her force fields, but it makes since as she’s still learning, and has to work with what she knows: like ice.

Aaaaaaand it was flipping adorable when Aqua was acknowledging that Terra is handsome. Aww!

Although, I’m sort of confused about what happened with Vanitas and Aqua at the end of “Aqua removing his glamour” thing, but I’m sure you’ll explain it eventually.

Now onto the Kairi portion of this review! For one, you’re really starting to make me ship NeKai. I think I just made that name up. LOL. But it just makes so much sense! I get why you gave him the role you did now. Neku can relate to Kairi so well! And that whole bit where he was telling her to expand her world… Wow. Just wow! :D

Although, I’m actually sort of worried for Shiki, since Neku’s so numb and murder-y (I read part of the next chapter). I know Mr. H said to worry about what might happen to Neku more, but remembering canon (-cough-WhenNekuWasStranglingShiki- cough), I’m kind of concerned… For everyone, really. There’s going to be a lot of bloodshed, isn’t there?

And d’aww! That SoKai part was so sweet! And Kairi acting human – It’s going to be so sad when Kairi proves herself human by sacrificing herself to save Sora from Josh (at least, that’s what I think is going to happen).

And onto the Roxas part, I have to say his wanting to die thing reminds me of Ventus’ “Just put an end to me,” line. Probably because I’ve been playing BbS again. (And having so much fun! I think I broke the game three times as Ventus!)

I really enjoyed the slight RokuNami you had when Roxy was thinking of her. I swear, I’m liking that pairing more and more, but I have to admit: I think I can only like the pairing when you write it. Everyone else writes Naminé wrong! They make her a perfect little angel, and I- Grr! Thank you, Dani. Truly. Thank you for being awesome and writing Nami (and everything right). –hugs-

Back to Roxas’ angsty-ness… It reminds me very much of Neku in this chapter! Man, I hope those two meet! They’re similar in canon and fanon both! I also hope Roxas meets his Xion soon. He needs a reason to want to live, and what better reason than his soul mate?! –shot-

I tell ya, I have so much respect for Roxas just wanting Ven to live, and not even himself. So cute! He’s always such a good older brother in your stories…

You know, that last line of Naminé’s in Roxas’ part … Reminds me of how Brittany Snow is always talking about (in her Nami interviews), that she was like Roxas’ guiding light (or something like that). Cool! It’s nice that you implemented that, even if you didn’t mean to. LOL.

Oh, jeez! Naminé’s seeing when Vanitas was more of a better person?! Now I’m sad! He WAS a good person! Even in canon, but Xehanort- Oh my God, the BbS novel! That still breaks my heart. And I still feel guilty when I kill Unversed, since it hurts Vanitas. That poor kid was tortured so much…

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if Sora saved him in KHIII (and knowing Nomura, it might happen, since “when Sora sees the heart in something, it then becomes real”). Maybe he could be an awesome anti-hero in the next saga like he was in the later chapters of WK, and in this story. Wishful thinking, I know, but it would be great.

Something else that’s cute: Ven teaching Nami stuff! It reminds me of how clueless Belle is in OUaT. They’d BETTER show her and Rumpel go out for that hamburger. It’d be so sweet!

Welp, I’m going to go read and review the next chapter. I’m hoping to have it reviewed at least by sometime tomorrow, but I have a bit of a cold, so all I want to do is sleep. We’ll see how it goes. LOL. Ugh. And NaNo’s coming up… Why is there so little time in a day? And this review is probably all over the place, and senseless. Sorry if it is. I hate being sick.

this might be a lame review buttt... i really liked this chapter! and the fact that you get inspiration from once upon a time is awesome. love it.

And the fact that fey can't lie. You've really pulled a lot of the things out of the Mortal Instruments, haven't you? It's great though-you've interwoven classic Disney princess tales so tightly together, it's pretty awesome. I also appreciate the greater POVs from Xion and Kairi and other characters that weren't featured as much in White Knight. Not that White Knight needs more characters; when all those random people just started popping up during the final battle, it was like, WHOA. Character overload. Though I loved the overabundance of FFXIII/XIII-2. Who cares about linearity of story when the story itself is that incredible?

I'm reading through "Mortal Instruments: City of Bone" and I keep popping onto terms mentioned here in this story, terms that I never got until repeated situations that sort of gave me a background as to what the term might mean. For instance, referring to faeries as fey. Also I really didn't know what glamour was until ch 16, although Rhyme's utilized it ever since she's appeared.

The fandom's pretty huge and there are probably people who have read both Mortal Instruments and played Kingdom Hearts. But then again, there are just as many people who haven't. Perhaps in the future you should make those concepts a bit clearer to avoid confusion.

Anyways, great story! It deserves far more reviews than it currently has. I keep telling myself that someday, I'm just going to go through and review EVERY chapter. And I keep putting it off. Meh.

Also, WHAT HAPPENED TO WHITE KNIGHT? I need my closure, Dani. And I'm pretty sure you need yours too. End it soon for my sanity's sake!

And I return from the land that was SoKai Day to give you your regularly scheduled review, Dani! Well, regularly scheduled until NaNo starts… Good god. I’m already getting off topic? Jeez, this has to be a record. I don’t think our Skype chats are helping with my randomness at all, but I wouldn’t change them for the world, love.

Let’s just get right into the Aqua part, shall we? Of course, I love all the VanAqua bits! And it’s just so awesome that Vanitas can finally be like, “I knew you were a girl all along, girly.” He did it with finesse, too (which is expected of Vanitas), so it was even better!

I have to say that Aqua bowing to MX seemed… wrong on so many levels. Hahaha. Mainly because I couldn’t get WK out of my head, and I imagine he’ll try to kill Aqua (again) at some point in this story. You can’t have Xehanort without him wanting to kill Aqua, it seems. Even in canon…

Speaking of which, I’ve become obsessed with BbS and TerQua again. Also, I think I’m going to write my VanAqua multi-chapter…

Back on track: I have to say that the whole “Vanitas chucking Dark energy at Aqua” bit sort of reminds me of WK. You know, in the file room when Vanitas hurts Aqua’s arm (when they’re first meeting)?

Also, I find it interesting that you describe Darkness as hot. Not that’s a bad thing, or wrong, or anything. I just like seeing other people’s approaches. I think Angel writes Darkness as cold and Light as hot, and I know I do, too, so… Though, honestly, your way’s probably the correct one.

I love the whole exchange between Vanitas and Aqua when she’s like, “But don't throw flaming balls of Darkness at me, alright.” The moment was almost… cute. And it reminds me of why I like the pairing. Mainly, I’ve realized I prefer TerQua, and in some regards don’t want to entertain the idea of crack pairings anymore (because it can be silly to do so), but I do love this pair. Especially when other people write it. I don’t know if I can, but-

Maybe I should write my VanAqua story and test myself? And I’m getting off topic again! Sorry!

Aaaaaaaaand I’m still wondering if Keyblades will somehow show up in this story. I can’t help but feel that’s what Xehanort wants with Aqua. You can’t have KH without Keyblades!

Onto the Naminé portion of this review! Uhh, I really like knowing Ven’s back-story now. At least a lot of it, and really wonder where things will go for him from here.

And I really must applaud you, Dani. Not only did this chapter revive my love for the cracky VanAqua, but for the awesome VenAmi (by the way, check out dagga19’s new VenAmi pic on dA). Yes. This chapter represents my happy thought when it comes to VenAmi, and I will soar with it forever. Kind of like Ven will when Nami becomes his happy thought. And, yes, I do know I’m cheesy beyond all measure.

What else? I really feel like Ven in this chapter. Just the way you’re writing him (especially the flying part) somewhat reminds me of me, so that’s cool. Speaking of characters that represent me, I need to find a OUaT one. Wasn’t Angie Red Riding Hood and you Belle? I don’t remember. I wonder who I’d be…

Back on track again! I like Peter Pan!Ven, but that shouldn’t be a surprise. It’s your writing, Ven, Peter Pan… Yeah. I used to have a crush on Peter Pan. Maybe that explains a lot.

Wow. This review is all over the place. Umm… It’s good to see Ven cheery in this chapter? I thank Nami for that. Hahaha. And you are truly clever for naming the island “Isle of Destiny.” Seriously. And since yesterday was SoKai Day (and KH’s ten-year anniversary in America), it’s somehow even cooler.

I LOLd at the misfits part. Oh, the island of Fallen Angels. Have I told you that I love Mr. H, and am glad you’ve included him? No? Well I am doing so now. I can’t wait to see what his connection with J is.

And you know, this entire scene reminds me of the pub part in Tangled for some reason. Maybe the misfits part? Or maybe because I can imagine Nami’s hair covering every inch of this place like Rapunzel’s in that scene? And now I’m thinking of this funny comic idea I came up with, but I’ll tell you about that later. I have a character limit to keep in mind, after all.

I have to say… Somehow it makes perfect sense that Mr. H would know Ven. And Vanitas for that matter. Maybe (on the Ven part) because he acts like he embraces Sanae’s advice? Anyway, I love how you can make people interact so well, and act like they belong together (even if they don’t). It’s one of your best gifts, I think. And it’s not missing here :D

You should know that I’m totally thinking of Vanitas as Davy Jones now. Is he one of Vanitas’ characters at all? I really doubt it, but you never know. And for some reason (I blame my VanAmi love for it), I want Nami, who’s very Windy-esque in this, to be like Vanitas’ Tia Dalma (but not a bee-itch) and maybe help Van? Especially since, for some reason, I think you’re shipping VanAmi more at the moment than VanAqua, but what do I know?

So, I’m really curious about Mr. H’s relation to the old faerie queen. I also want to know who she is... And her connection to Josh! I want to know everyone’s connection to Joshua, apparently, and that includes Shiki. If they’re connected at all. Right now it doesn’t look like it.

I’m so glad you included Shiki, btw! But you should know that. Hahaha. Maybe we’ll see some NeShiki soon?

And whoa. Shiki’s eyes are black in this? Not even just really dark brown, but black? That’s sort of… disconcerting.

And for some reason, I have to find humor in Shiki apparently being the fastest thing ever in this. Mainly because she was always chasing Neku in TWEWY, but it’s cool and I can accept it. She should race the speed demon that is Ven! In flying, I mean.

Oh, poor Beat. You’re kind of left out of the faerie stuff when it comes to the TWEWY gang. Oh well. At least your sister, Rhyme, is a changeling. Can’t wait till he reunites with her! (And maybe if you include some Beri if Eri shows up).

And on to the Xion part!

Drat… It looks like Joshua’s being a Grade-A jerk (even more so than usual) to Rhyme. But I think that’s part of the reason I like Joshyme. Hopefully we’ll see a bit of fluff from them soon, though.

There seems to be a lot of Rion going on in this chapter. I actually think I’m somewhat, kind of, a little bit, maybe more okay with that pairing now. Maybe (but more on that later). Anyway, I love it here, and am proud of Riku for caring so fiercely about this human now. But I can’t help but feel he’s thinking of her as Naminé? We shall see, I guess. Oh, RikuNami. How I love you! –claps hand over mouth as if I didn’t just say that-

Anywho, what else is there to say? I was a little confused at the end, but I think I got it. Oh! Oh! For some reason I loved when Xion acknowledged Joshua’s voice was higher-pitched than hers. That cracked me up. Did you know people pair them up? (Not that that’s surprising.)

Great chapter, Dani! I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to see more, but you should be used to me saying that by now. Hahaha. And the pic on dA, “Coffee and Life Advice” by The-Manda, reminds me of this chapter oddly enough. IDK why. Maybe because they’re at a restaurant in both, and both sort of show Mr. H and Shiki look alike? Seriously. The way you described Mr. H and then Shiki here made me suddenly realize Shiki could be his daughter appearance wise, but I so know that’s not happening in this. Hahaha.

I missed Kairi in this chapter. I need my SoKai fix. LOL. But it’s okay. Maybe we’ll see them next chapter!

Huh. So Aqua can use magic - I guess that'd be useful on a pirate ship, or anywhere, really. Yeah, you'd get healing stuff and fighting stuff all at the same time if you had a mage, or magician, or whatever Aqua is right now. Part Fae, maybe?

And Ventus and Namine - Peter Pan and Neverland, right? Only, Neverland right now is the land of fallen angels and other bits and pieces and stuff. Heartless fits well enough with Vanitas's role in the game. And I admit to being confused when it came to the part with Xion - did Rhyme transform, or was Rhyme - oh. Rhyme was glamored. Still a bit hard to understand, but maybe it's the beauty of it... after all, it's a waking dream...

First days suck because you still want summer back and it's okay you don't need to rush and updates can come slower as long as everything still makes sense and I'm so late with this review... So, so late... Anyway! Sorry, sorry, I was really lazy when it came to story alerts for a while - still reading, still reading.

Okay, so I like the stuff with all the fairies. You've really elaborated on it since the time I last reviewed. And, though I don't know exactly who's who (I've never played World Ends With You, or really seen anything of 3D), I like the way the characters have developed, and the story has developed. I also like how all the separate plotlines have connections, and it's interesting to see exactly how they connect, especially since you use bits and pieces of the original fairytales.

I could talk more, but I'm pretty sure anything I type after this point would start sounding like bullshit...
Oh well. Good chapter, this one - you ended with a cliffhanger, too, I really wanna see how that'll turn out.
