Your story says it hasn't been updated since 2016, but in ch.1, you said youre revising in 2020...please finish this story. Zutara in general has been kind of a lifeline for me...I've been going through some stuff and reading fanfiction has helped me feel better, but your story...this story helped me the most. It made me feel so happy and emotional, at this point, I'm attached to this story. Please finish it, it's so good, I just want to cry. I started hyperventilating when I remembered that it was last updated in 2016...please, I am begging you, please finish this. Please, I'm crying right now, please. I legitimately just had a panic attack and now I'm just sitting on my bed crying...zutara broke my heart on so many levels and I found solace with your story. | Guest chapter 2 . 7/16 Why did you leave out the fact that he was burned? He wasn’t banished bc he spoke of of turn exclusively...he was ordered to duel in an Agni Kai and when he found out it was his Father he refused to fight. That’s when Ozai said he had shown shameful weakness, that he would learn respect and suffering would be his teacher...then burned and banished him. Banishment alone doesn’t really hold much weight compared to the part of the story where he also gets his signature scar. I’d edit this to add it in. I’d love to see Hakoda’s reaction. It also can provide Katara more understanding as to why he grew up thinking that not fighting weakness and choosing not to fight will only bring him physical and emotional pain, further trauma and is a serious threat to his existence. It’s significant to his psychology and sheds more light on why he betrayed Katara |
