I like Peeta better, but it's hard not to feel sorry for him

Oh Gale! I always had this feeling when I first read the series that he loves her. I like his perspective of it all, and you managed to fit it in a reasonable lengthed story. And that part where he says something about not knowing a world where Katniss doesn't exist is exactly what Peeta said in your other story! Great job and I hope you continue this, write a bit more though since he plays a bigger role in the next two books :)

I really enjoyed this fic, and I'm not normally one to pick a Gale-focused fic when I'm looking for something to read (because of my Team Peeta bias). However, I've enjoyed your other stories, so I decided to give this one a shot, too, and I'm glad that I did. Your Gale was very in character, and I like that, despite his jealousy and worry about Katniss coming back to him from the Games safe and sound (and psychologically healthy), he was still able to stay somewhat level-headed about the Peeta situation. Oh, I was occasionally a little annoyed with him about some of his thoughts about Peeta, but they were true to his character in the books and were a least somewhat understandable, from his point-of-view. So, excellent writing, especially because you made a reader who often doesn't like Gale all that much feel for him just a little bit more than I've done so in the past.
