I agree with LJ, great, cute little story and you have a style that can only be improved by editing. Hopefully you can find a beta who won't mess too much with what you're trying to say! Keep writing! :)

Cute, don't get me wrong, but editing would improve this story substantially. And maybe a little bit of expansion. But just fixing your tenses, not to mention ensuring the sentences are complete so that they make sense (ex:'Fresh white snow whit a trail of footprint to his gate.')

Lots of potential, though! Just need to do some cleaning up of the final product.
