Makes so much sense to make Stiles assistant to a PI. His wacky skills do actually lead to a future! OC has no reserves, boundary-less, she doesn't mind off-color jokes from movers or talking about her deepest losses, and Stiles is open with her when she asks about his, but she sets him straight on their age difference. Your narrative is clear and solid.
