I really love the opening scene of this; it's such a perfect follow-up to their first meeting, and the writing there is visceral and sparse in a way that really works for them. I loved all the little sensory details - the cold, dark water, the warmth of Raven's skin, Erik and Charles's wet bodies. I also lol'ed that when they see each other for the second time, their dialogue is the very blunt exchange "Hello Erik" / "It's you" - I've read lots of fics where they're falling all over each other at this point, but here, they're almost antagonistic (I loved Erik's "Don't tempt me"), which works perfectly to set up all the following scenes of them gradually getting closer. Erik putting the water bottle to his head was just the right amount of sweet.
