I really loved how you extended Wheatley's character and explained many of his dialogue choices. This honestly felt in-game for me. I could see this happening in some sort of Portal prequel.

Anyways, what was that tidbit about? The one with the seven humans going down to six. Does this mean Doug's dead?Anyhow, great fic as always!

I just read this story, and the Glados one (switching between them as recommended) and I can honestly say that this was the best fanfiction I've ever read. You've managed to so perfectly explain and characterize these beloved robots, (without any sort of human au situation, thank god!) And I've accepted these thoroughly into my idea of Portal canon. Thank you for these masterpieces!

I say, along with the 'A Few Repairs' series, this is the best Portal fanfiction I have ever read! I grinned through the whole thing, and that unexpected burst of nostalgia I got when any of Wheatles' weird misconceptions were explained ('Ah'm spaking in an aaksent beyand hrr range of HEARANG!' / 'They told me (...) I would DIE.') was absolutely delightful. Thank you for writing something so awesome.

This was, by far, one of the best Wheatley characterization I've ever read. Well done.

The only thing that doesn't make sense is that, at the end of the game, when you are fighting him, he says that none of the other test subjects he tried to rescue made it to the portal gun, which means that he tried to guide at least some of them to the portal gun before Chell. Oh, and I guess he's not good at hacking because he really doesn't WANT to hack anything directly, right? But other than that, this fic explains everything (as I said in my other review) and I love it I think this is now my favourite fic.

This fanfic really explains everything. The only thing left to explain is his encounter with the Different Turret.
