Hi! I'm from Argentina and I really love your stories, I readed "For Nakama" and I love it, then I star to read this one and I love it too haha I like very much the way yuo write, how you tell the story, but you didn't finish it Why? Is really good and the las chapter finish with Luffy weaking up, I can't stop my brain to imagine what is goin to happen. I really want you to finish it, I need the end haha but I understand that many years passed, so I don't know, I think that I just want you to know that someone is still here reading for if one day you want to come back and it will be very greatefull. I don't even know if you are going to read this haha but there is nothing bad in just try. So, bye, see you.

Hi! I hope you don’t mind but I’m going to write you a mountain of a review because it is long overdue. I’m so sorry it turned out so monstrously long. If you (understandably) do not want to read the entire monologue the gist is I really want to say thank you and your story really means a lot even if I didn’t say it before. (Also if you ever want to keep writing I am in favor of that).
When I was an ity-bity freshman in high school all those years ago just getting into the OP fandom I stayed up all night reading your story. I had just transferred to a new high school from hell and I didn’t have a single friend and I would spend my lunch break walking up and down the hallways pretending to be looking for my pencil case so nobody would know I didn’t have anyone to sit with. I used to stay up as late as humanly possible so I could delay going back to school. So In avoidance of mourning I read For Nakama in one night and I absolutely loved it. I love how hard the Straw Hat crew fought to save Luffy. You could really feel their desperation at getting their captain back. They are amazing characters and it really showed in your story. Their teamwork and dynamic was amazing. There was nothing in the world that could possibly stop them from getting Luffy back and it showed. And Luffy OMG Luffy kind of makes the story. He is slightly more serious here and it really sets the tone of the story. He is so self-sacrificing when it comes to his friends it is so inspiring. He was so brave and fearless in this story. He never gave up even when he knew he was soon going to die. Even when they were experimenting on him he never let them have the satisfaction of knowing they were getting to him. He was their prisoner but somehow I never felt like it. And don’t even get me started on your O.C’s. As a rule I don’t like original characters but yours were so so amazing it felt like Goda had come up with them himself. They were perfectly fleshed out with real interesting personalities. Cannon was such a standup guy I was so amazed. He and Luffy had such a good relationship my goodness. And that scene where Cannon tries to escape with Luffy but gets caught OMG! My heart. And then there was the reunion. You could feel how much the Straw Hats missed and needed Luffy and it was amazing. Nami hugged him! She never does that to anyone! It was such a touching moment. Then immediately afterwards they have to split up again and you get the horrible realization something is horribly wrong with Luffy and you begin to get worried because this does not look good for him. It’s that nagging feeling that has slowly been growing that he might not make it out of this. Still he does everything he can to help his crew and the marines take one last chance to hurt him. Then the base starts to flood with sea stone and things get beyond intense! I was jumping up and down when I read it for the first time. My absolute favorite thing about this entire fic was the volcano scene. Everything about it was the most perfect (excuse my grammar) climax I have ever read in a story. Like OMG I have never read a fic that took Luffy so close to death without actually dying. Luffy is so sure of himself even though he knows it is the last thing he will ever do. Still he is at peace just knowing he can save his nakama. And Zoro F######### Zoro who will literally follow his captain into the afterlife to pull him back. God Oda has this thing where he pushes his characters to the limit and we the fans drink it up because it’s awesome. Yet you somehow manage to do that but on steroids. That entire scene was just far too amazing for me to handle. And then the crew refuses to give up on Luffy because they know he would never give up on them. Their delusional and it’s heartbreaking but they refuse to let him die. And yet despite all of that there is still somehow a happy ending! It is amazing and I loved this story so so much. So instead of spending my lame lunches pretending to have lost something I started spending them writing fanfic for your fanfiction. I kid you not. Looking back it was the absolute dorky’est thing I’ve ever done but it gave me something good to do aside from being lonely. But don’t worry those files are successfully lost to the world after the death of my first laptop Allen (may he rest in peace). So they can no longer haunt the world with subpar fourteen year old fanfiction attempts. Needless to say your story meant a lot to me in my awkward tween years.
Before I forget OMFG what the hell! How are you so good at both writing and drawing? Seriously. If that’s what you can do with a ballpoint pen I’m a little frightened. I am not exaggerating when I say your art is beyond professional level. But seriously you did that with a pen! WTF.

Anyway the real reason I wanted to review before I spiraled into a sinfully long tangent was I wanted to tell you how much I love Blue, Gold and Pale. The thing that stands out the most to me is your setting. Seriously did you think of that all on your own, oh my goodness? The scene really makes this already amazing story superb. Everything about the monkey world had me instantly hooked. Goda would be extremely jealous of primate world. Honestly what fanfiction story has a world this advanced with different social hierarchies based on fur colour. Not to mention the gold superiority complex. The O.C.s are amazing my goodness. PAN I really hope she is still alive. She was the sweetest thing in the world and they ruthlessly killed her and boke Luffys heart. But I refuse to give out hope that she is really dead. A smart girl like her is just hiding utile Luffy can come save her again. Also that is just like Luffy to risk everything just because he see’s someone in trouble. Sweet boy that one. Also poor Luffy he cannot catch a break. And the crew is so protective my goodness it is so heartwarming. They really need him like he needs them. Luffy almost bit it again poor kid. But they’re together again and it’s going to be okay. Because they can do anything even while severely injured. I am so excited to see what happens next with them turning the world up on its head. I’m sure they will show those dumb gold monkey leaders whose boss soon. Would you believe that I actually failed my biology midterm because of this story! For whatever reason I didn’t read it until March. So right before I was supposed to start cram studying I thought ‘huh this looks good’ and the next thing I knew it was mourning, my exam was in an hour, and my friends were frantically knocking on my dorm room door convinced I had become another fatality of caffeine overdose. Zero studying took place but I don’t regret anything because this story was absolutely amazing.
Anyway in all you mentioned writing was discouraging because no one seemed to care about the story or something along those lines so I wanted to write a short novella trying to convince you otherwise because I care a lot about them. These two stories meant a lot to me and they helped me through my high school transfer. I am very sorry about the length of this review and the oversharing (nobody likes an over sharer) but I felt like I couldn’t sit down and simply write a blurb about how good your story was. Seriously you could scower the ff. site and not find anything like it anywhere. So anyways I very much hope you continue this story because I simply must know what happens. At the very least I am very happy this story ended after the SH’s reunited. I don’t think I could take it if you stopped a chapter sooner they were meant to be together. So if this is where the story stops I completely understand and I’m glad it could end on such a positive note. If my one piece fanfic stories turn out anything even close to as good as yours I will be very happy. Thank you for being awesome.

I don't know if you'll ever see this but I'm going to write anyway. I am a huge fan of your writing (I have read For Nakama at least several times before) and recently decided to re-read ot again. I could not believe you'd written a follow up story! I have been reading it all day and got to the last chapter and it's not finished...

Ok so i read the first story on sea prism island and cont to this and i love the hurt comfort luffy and how much zoro and the crew cares for their captain and how well this is written. This is by far my favourite one piece fanfic. I love your style of writing, and how much description you put into each scene. I cant wait for the next chapter - the suspense is killing me! I really hope that you are still working on this, and please update soon!
