Just finished the story! Its epicness is beyond words. The way you represent the characters is so realistic that I forget that I'm reading a fanfiction; to the point that I almost think I'm reading a professionally written novel for the Mass Effect series. You are by far the best author I've seen in the Mass Effect fandom, and I can't wait to see what you do with the sequel!

You keep everyone in character very nicely.

I like the back-and-forth between Garrus and Joker in this chapter, they don't have enough interaction in the games.

Gambling inept Shepard amuses me.

Grunt reminds me of a kid...a seven foot tall, six-hundred pound, blood-thirsty kid.

Is it sad that I sang along to Mordin's song? Loudly? Cause I did, and now my roommate thinks I've lost my mind.

This is very impressive. You took what happened in the game and made it interesting to read even though I knew what would happen. You have a very flowing writing style that just makes this story easy to read, which is a rarity on this site nowadays. Thank you for writing this, and I intend to read the whole thing. I can't wait to see where you take it!

Truly fucking fantastic story. Very well done. I've laughed cried, had my blood boil with anger, and had several 'awwww!' moments. I look forward to seeing the sequel crop up, and enjoying that. Will you be following the events of ME3 exactly, or will it be more AU-ish? Either way, I look forward to reading it.

Ok I've been reading this story like a krogan charging headlong into battle, and there have been MANY moments that just made my gut wrench, or heart flutter, but the last two paragraphs of this chapter made me cry. Absolutely perfect. Also, brilliant story. This is an excellent re-write. Really, truly, superb.
