A lot of fanfic writers can't do it and Overdo, like, to much of banters (and it's unatural), you didn't so it's a believable!

One of my favorite reads! I love the plot twists and the unexpected turns. I love the little hints that you added in reference to the show AND the actual legends.

I could NOT put this thing down! This has got to be one of my favorite Merlin fics, and it definitely makes my top ten list of fanfics in general. All in all, I loved it.

Not to be dramatic,but ever since she first appeared I knew I would die for Elayne, and I'm loving her even more every second.

I can't believe I'd never found this until now. Admittedly I'm not a fan of powerful OC's that make themselves the heroes in Merlin fanfiction, so from the beginning I have despised Elayne. Despite that personal preference, this story was utterly amazing and I'm sorry to see it end. Hopefully we'll get some sort of sequel. Thanks for sharing this.

Amazing! This story deserves more attention.
I do wish the last few chapters were spread out a bit more like the start, but that's pretty much the only criticism I have.
I would love to see a sequel.
I'm heading over to start reading The Warlock's Calling now, I hope it's as good and original as Born To Be was!

You changed the spelling of Elayne once this chapter. For a few seconds I thought hat the Lily Maid of Astolat had made a random appearance. :)

Freya is the Gōd, isn't she. Deryn said that she was powerful, she has control over water from the Lake of Avalon thing, Merlin shouldn't be able to exist without the Gōd. It just sort of fits. Although… if Morgana were the Gōd, that would be interesting. But it's Freya, isn't it.

Sorry I haven't reviewed the other chapters. But this is really really really /good/. There are those stories that are the kind of good that makes you sit back and smile or cry after every chapter and write a review. Then there are stories like these that you just can't stop reading. I love how this mystery is slowly writing itself and how there are almos no spelling or grammatical errors. I also feel a bit sick about what might happen when they find Merlin. Bringing Morgana in was a nice touch. Although, Freya has that magic to transport herself and others through water. Why doesn't she transport herself from stream to pond to brook to stream to find them?
