I just want to let you know that I’m absolutely in love with this story! I’ve rarely read fanfictions over and over again but for this one, gosh it was just so perfect!

Idk why people are critiquing it since I personally found this realistic if they were really to happen! I can really picture this and when Brick saved Blossom and their confrontation occurred about the bet, I really really felt that!

The only thing is that I wish we could have seen Brick’s brothers’ reactions like that would have been the perfect ending but I’m glad on this chapter, it somewhat seems like an ending regardless...just almost completed one since BlossIck still got their happy ending so I’m satisfied! Also kinda wished to see a hint of Blues and Greens’ romance but it’s alright, there are other stories for that lol

Loved the plot and the bet idea and the way their love blossomed and their confrontation about the bet, it was all so beautiful so well done!

From Brick's reaction to Blossom's first attempt at making this plan work, I thought it would have taken many more chapters before a dent was even seen in Brick's armour. And while it was realistic for him to think about how strange his rival has been acting, for him to show a hint of concern for her in less than a couple days is much too startling. The sudden tenderness he had shown during the robot battle made me wonder if I had skipped several events between these two since their last interaction. And once that point of softness began, everything just seemed to slip forward so quickly - this desire to be close to her, concerned for her health, and thinking about her constantly in that lovesick way - his character just took a complete 180 in such little time.

For many romance writers, the most common struggle is not to rush the romance and unfortunately, these two are speeding down that highway at superhuman speeds. No doubt, there were some IC moments that you had sprinkled throughout, like Brick's horror at the thought of being /nice/ and his interaction with the kite-boy - those were all well and good but the pacing of these two's relationship in general is the main crux of issue here. You mentioned this is your first fanfiction and seek to improve for the stories you plan to write in the future so I'm sharing this feedback with you as a constructive critique, not as an offense.

The main gist of this feedback is to work on character development and hopefully, the relationship development will follow if the former part succeeds.

Such a great story. I really want to know how Butch and Boomer will react to Brick and Blossom's relationship. I hope you come back to this story.
