Fun story, but much too heavy on the Xander worship. The Xander-Spike relationship is utterly OOC.

Brilliant story! I haven't seen any Buffy episodes, but this story made me want to watch it. Xander was an excellent character. I really liked his interactions with Harry. He treated Harry like a kid, not a hero or a weapon. I also liked the dynamic between Xander and Snape. Very well-written.

Apparently you're American, but even most Americans know that British people do not call their mothers Mom! It's Mum. It's a good story, I'm enjoying it, but getting little things wrong like that is annoying.

I have been loving this story, but the scene where Harry ran to Xander to escape Umbridge’s detention resulting in Xander going after her with an axe brought happy tears to my eyes. The adults so completely failed this poor child in canon. Reading the book portions of those detentions, Harry’s pain and his sense of helplessness was tremendously emotional for me at the time. Thank you for giving me a different visual ending. I am not sure I ever hated Voldemort quite as intensely as I hated Umbridge. Reading about her being slammed against a wall by a Muggle with an axe was amazingly cathartic, even all these years later.

"Quip-Fu" had me giggling too.

Aggravating that he keeps thinking Dumbledore is the only one who could possibly be doing this. My eyes, they roll.
