oh my god; it's so funny that i stumbled back on this story years later. i've been re-reading Hunger games and i could remember reading this one story where everyone is friends and it's a modern au and i couldn't remember the name of it for the life of me and then i finally found it!

Well I’m glad she straight up told gale the deal. But doing that while gently stroking his face and kissing back his hair. Total mixed messaging. He had no reason to be upset before but after that move, No wonder he’s pissed and confused. .

It’s crazy that Katniss thinks shes obligated to read someone’s mind. Gale has never told her he liked her so neither he. Or she should think he has first dibs to her feelings. That’s ridiculous. And she’s silly for thinking that but that’s canon so true to character

What a great story, I loved it when Peeta went off on his dad about his mom's having such a hard life and then turning around and seeing that she heard him. I can't wait to see how this story wraps up.
