love both series of books but this comes off like a nice kids fairy tale but completely unrealistic in several dozen ways. NO government would leave them alone. Period. End statement. Hello! Human level Intelligent genetic TELEPORTING dragons... military value alone is worth ANYTHING. Much less the TIME TRAVEL ability! Now having JUST reread the whole Brainship series TODAY...the High Families would not leave them alone even if Central SOMEHOW did! Then their are slavers, artifact hunters...and any of THREE DOZEN alien races that would ALL be right there! Its kind of sad because other then the half dozen GIANT plot holes...you kept every single person in character to the orignals...and that's fucking amazing work!

The only consistent thing I see wrong is the phrase 'her ship' which should be 'her shell' or 'her'. Anything less tells me you still don't get it.

This story was a most pleasant find. I Enjoy all of Anne McCaffrey's stories but The Dragon Riders of Pern and The Brain Ship series were two of my favorites. I am so pleased that this story was successfully concluded. I know how unforgiving real life can be but I will be following this story and author in the hope that, perhaps, he will have more stories in the same vein. Now that I have had my faith in FanFiction renewed, I will continue to seek out those stories that deserve recognition, such as this one, and share them with my family and friends.

This is a good story, very much in the style of McCaffrey. I think you could have given some more detail and some bits - most notably Marketh - could have been left out without harming the story. I'm assuming that he will feature in a sequel?

Overall, this is a steady journeyman bit of work and well worth the time to read it. I'll be looking out for more from you.

Manipulating someone with what always struck me as Down's Syndrome is the sort of evil common to the Abominator movement. I'm just wondering who might be the real brains behind this attack.

Obviously, they're going to have to dial back the damage sensor feedback if Tia senses major damage to her avatar as disabling pain!
