Reviews for What If The CEO Defeated SpiderMan 2099?

You should go ahead and try a Leverage TV show and Spiderman 2099 multichapter Crossover story where Leverage International has not only evolved into a multi-generational robin hood family business where each generation helps train the following generation in order to assist the following generation to add to all of the previous Robin Hood style of criminal knowledge. But also Leverage International evolved/grew into Leverage Intergalactic. Giving them large enough number of members and strength to assist Spiderman 2099 in taking down Alchemax and the other Big Businesses that have grown so large and powerful they have actually replaced the Government as the Governing of by the year 2099.

I'm sorry about your computer; I know first hand how much computer troubles can suck:p

Anyways, I really like what you have here so far. The writing is very descriptive and you really seem to get MJ's character.

Good luck continuing on. Great job so far!
Rider Paladin chapter 2 . 5/11/2012
The way I see it, everything happened mostly as it did in canon, except Peter and Mary Jane stayed together even if they never did quite get married in this continuity. Other than that, everything is more-or-less as it happened in the comics proper minus whatever you can't quite reconcile with the events of the game. As for the future Peter Parker commenting about saving Captain George Stacy and his daughter Gwen, that was probably him talking to the present Peter Parker about his plan, namely to undo everything that had ever gone wrong in his life, save everyone he'd ever failed to save and stuff like that. At least, that's the closest context I can come up with after viewing so many playthroughs of Edge of Time.

As for the actual story, I like how you recreated Mary Jane's encounter with Spider-Man 2099, and I'll be looking forward to how her encounter with Peter Parker 2099 turns out.

Pretty interesting story you've got here, particularly with CEO Peter Parker 2099 from Edge of Time as your villain protagonist. It's actually interesting to me because CEO Peter represents to me the depths Peter could sink to if he was truly broken by the misery and tragedy inflicted on him, and I do see CEO Peter as an ultimately broken, miserable human being trapped in the web of his own guilt and self-hatred over his inability to prevent those close to him from dying and it's nearly completely unbalanced him. It sort of reminds me of Spider-Carnage from the 90s animated finale, only CEO Peter seems a lot more Machiavellian, manipulative, and coldblooded than Spider-Carnage, who was quite clearly off his rocker and blatantly homicidal. All the same, this could be an interesting dive into the mind of such a twisted and broken version of our hero, particularly with dangling Mary Jane, probably the one person whose loss he was most affected by, in front of him. Will her presence push him back to some semblance of sanity and being the hero he once was . . . or just make him worse?
