Earthshock had a very sad ending in spite of what the Adric-haters think. (I’m not one of them.) I like fanfics like this where Adric is saved! There was one time when I watched the episode but the silent end credits were spoiled by a voice that was speaking over them.

Good, but there's a plot hole. The Fifth Doctor used Adric's gold star, destroying it, to kill one of the two Cybermen that had board the TARDIS.

That made me really happy to read. I love Adric as a companion so much...it just kind of made me sad for him to have such an abrupt end like he did. This is really nice, though. Kinda wish you would write more, but I totally get the whole writing-everything-at-once situation balanced with work/school and such. Great fic, all the same!

This was a very uplifting story and it could fit into the continuity of the show. I always thought Adric was an under appreciated character who the Doctor didn't always get along with and then he died tragically and the Doctor never even tried to save him. I always thought Adric's death deserved more than crying from Nyssa and Tegan and a shocked expression on the Doctor's face. This fanfic really puts right the injustice that Adric was dealt and leaves it open for future adventures with him and the Eleventh Doctor. Well done.

I always like stories where the Doctor gets to see old companions again! Good job!
