Oh, they definitely aren't too old, what with people having kids later and later these days! I'll be 30 this year and I haven't decided whether I want kids, but I'm not worried about getting too old before I decide. Anyway, I'm a huge sucker for "Effie tells Haymitch she's pregnant" fluff, and this didn't disappoint. I like that she told him without actually saying the words, because reading so many stories where the woman just says flat-out, "I'm pregnant," gets sooooo boring. This story definitely was not boring at all. I loved that little bit you included about her romantic backstory, with Seneca and her miscarriage. I love how realistically you portrayed her happiness and her fears. I'd definitely love to read more Hunger Games fic from you!
