Yer, I read this right after Our Darker Purpose, so I am well and truly dead inside. I could ramble on about how I adore this in a twisted sort of a way but the literary references in this: holy crap. Orpheus and Eurydice. The Red Riding Hood. Frankenstein. Your happy ending is an illusion. I just ... have no words for how breathtakingly dark and perfect this is: the idea, the execution, everything.

Okay, so I've read several of your stories now, and haven't had any trouble interpreting them. However, this one is giving me trouble. Of course I understand the Bruce is changed and all the matters that accompany that revaluation. I suppose what is giving me trouble is the situation with Damien; what's going on there?

You did really well with this. You should be proud of writing such an amazing oneshot.

This. Was. Epic. Easily one of the best Batman one shots I have ever read. Your characterization of Tim was spot on and the twist at the end was perfect. Would love to see this idea expanded but it is perfect as a one shot as well. Keep up the amazing work!
