I really, really loved this. It is really a perfectly realistic take on Sherlock's character. He isn't one for sentiment (but he is only human). I would think he wouldn't be the best at goodbyes even though his goodbye to John was just absolutely heartbreaking, but it's only natural he would manage a perfectly brilliant hello as well.

This was an amazing read and written so well.

I liked that ending. Saying a proper hello...it was fitting, but I wouldn't put it pass Sherlock to screw that up too. Lol.
