I do hope we get some Dean worried about Sam fic after that season ender as well... I personally did not like that season ending - second worst one, In my opinion. I would have loved it if both boys had been sent to purgatory but I don't like the idea that Dean gets to go off and be the one everyone is all worried about and hurt while Sam is just fine and not in some sort of danger himself. But I digress - I liked your fic, sick Dean and all :P Dean is back and not broken. I hope the purpose of sending Dean to purgatory is to make him dangerous again like you've suggested here.

I love how you described Dean after his return from Purgatory. '...he'd survived, so he'd been successful and so he came back home bold, confident, and feeling at the top of his game. He came back Dean Winchester.'

Plus I love how you described Sam, 'There was a job to be done, and Sam got the job done and never once lost himself in the middle of it.'

I have to disagree (strongly)with the fans that want Dean's stay in Purgatory to be six or more episodes. I think it would be great to see the hunter in Dean again and Sam surviving without making bad choices, because I watch the show for the brothers and their bond. But you already know how I feel about Dean and Sam. :) (plus would love to see Sam involved in figuring out how to get Dean back)
