I don't know how I missed that story the first time I combed for anything Newkirk-related, but I am very happy to have found it now. Thanks for this enjoyable adventure - it had the right mixture of drama and humour. I love it when my favourite Brit gets injured in any way and the rest of the team has to take care of him. In my opinion, you portrayed the characters very well and Newkirk's quirk for always having another trick up his sleeve was very entertaining ;P
Thank you for your hard work!

I just recently found out about Hogan's Heroes which means I'm a little late to this fan fiction! But it is definitely by far one of my favorites! All of the Hogan's Heroes are most lovable characters and you really captivated their personalities! And that this is the "English version" makes it even better because the translation is perfect!
I know it's probably unlikely, but if you ever put out any more Hogan's Heroes fics I will definitely be waiting to read them!

Thank you for making an english version of this! It was great; I enjoyed it greatly. I wish I could read your other stories as well, but I'm afraid I don't know French...

Just a note for the German: because Olsen doesn't know the person who he is talking to he would have actually said "Sollen Sie". You used the informal familiar which is used when you know the person well.

I was up late last night reading this marvelous story. Thank you for sharing it with us, and thank you to Your translator for making it accessible to more readers. The language is beautiful. It flows , and the descriptions and pov of the characters are just enough! Sometimes authors get bogged down with the narrative to the point that I skim in order to get to the action. This was not the case here. Your OC was a complex character that grew through the course of the action. The violence was not overdone and you didn't linger on it unnecessarily.

The wolf metaphor was wonderful. It takes a real talent to work something like that into a complex plot. Great job!

Again, your planning is excellent. For example: hiding the loot in the road. I do question that Hogan would not have been familiar with the term "Cockney." ) from the other chapter). Especially since he spent a good deal of time in England. Guess he never read "Pygmalion." LOL. My granddad was a cockney, btw. And my Dad grew up in the East End.

Methinks that newkirk is playing with fire, here. I anticipate more trouble ahead, courtesy of the German general.
