Oh heavens, I LOVE THIS! This matches my own vision of what Emma would be like so well, and I love the idea of Tessa wanting to mentor the decedents of the men she loved, yet being oh-so mysterious about what her exact connection to those young folks is. And I love how Jace is trying to be mature and grown-up, but is prone to a bit of pride and doesn't like coming in second. And just.. the confidence Emma has is something that I can see fitting her from what little we know. And the way you incorporate Julian's mention and how Emma is momentarily as argent as Jem... YES. And Tessa being mature, and trying to show it in her appearance, but reverting to her true self when flustered. Everybody is just So. Spot. On. Man, I LOVE IT! Thank you for writing this!
