That was really... touching in an almost surprising manner. Surprising in the way that, for once, it's rare these days to come across really quality fiction (and this is certainly fitting into that category for me), and also because somehow, you've managed to find the tone for both of them that I already saw them as. There are so many different ways to look at them like, even regardless of whether you ship or not, and this one just fit all the right things in my head, pushed all the right buttons, and had me crying by the end. Thank you for writing it, and letting me read.

Absolutely lovely. Bunny and Tiger both feel very true to canon, and the story itself is just the right mix of melancholy and warmth.

This, for me, is a spot-on replication of the are-they-or-aren't-they relationship that gives Tiger & Bunny its charm. Seriously, this right here is the engine of the whole thing, and you make pinning it down look easy. It's tempting to categorize their relationship...but why bother when you can send fans into fits with all the implications :P
Besides, I kind of see that as taking the easy route. The midpoint you hit here is much more emotionally layered, and it's a lot truer to the spirit of the show than other fanfic I've seen. Great job!

I wasn't gonna say anything, but the ending actually hit me pretty hard, so I had to. I know them sharing a bed could be seen as romantic cuddling, but for me, it reminded me of when I was a kid. Back then, I'd sometimes get petrified of someone in my family suddenly dying, so I'd sleep on the floor next to my brother's bed, just so I can hear him breathing and know he was still alive. So while normally I'd be "meh" about a scene like that ('cuz I don't ship it, lol), in context, it was pretty good and I connected with it since to me, it was believable because I've done it myself.
