I've come to the conclusion that this story is very much like The Lion King. it's good but it reminds me of The Lion King.

Ok, so I've had this story hanging out in my favorites for a while now, and I just kept putting off reading it constantly. But I decided to give it a shot yesterday and dear gods I couldn't put my tablet down. Well fucking done, you had me super excited and feeling all these emotions throughout the story. I completely and 100% picked up on the Lion King story line and it just made it that much better. Especially because you gave it your own twist and style. I loved it! Fantastic job, do not stop writing.

This story truly was an epic read! I loved how much detail and effort you've put into this, and the mythology you created was so interesting! The ending was beautiful! Thank you for writing!

I really enjoyed this story overall since it was truly unique. I like the character development in Riku, and it was interesting to read about his journeys after his escape. However, my pet peeves, besides the spelling errors, were that within the final battle, the Sephiroth-Xemnas pair said "whore" way too many times and that the battle cries and insults were a bit too cheesy. I think they said "whore" more than 12 times in total, and the conversations during the battle, about surrendering and about Shiva and Diablos, took away the seriousness. That's just the way I felt, but it may be different for others. The ending was adorable, and I like how everything ties together. I would, however, like to read more Riku and Sora's relationship developing afterwards since the epilogue did not feel like an epilogue.

Wow, just wow. That was a wonderful ending! Full circle, and it even included the title of the work. So very sad to see this story go, it was an exciting 20 chapters spanned over 3 years.

It truly added it's own twists and turns to an already beloved story from my childhood, so of course I absolutely loved reading this. Kinda wish there was more story line involving Vexen now, though, poor guy only gave off a minor impression compared to lots of everyone else in the battle. Or maybe that's just me -shrugs-
