I'd have thought that Voldie would be thrilled with his unique-looking wand, but that was fun! (Chicken bone, lol!)
It does look unusual, but Voldemort always liked his stuff to stand out (seriously, the objects he used as his horcruxes must have been very hard to find).

*Snicker* I never really thought of Voldemort's wand as a chicken bone, but now I have the mental image of him swishing a turkey leg around. I like how Tom looks at the wand like it is as a piece of thrash. But the last line was so perfect - Dumbledore's suspicions about Tom's dark future were raised by reading too much into Ollivander's grimace. The funny thing is that this would fit into the canon and no one would be any the wiser...

And thus Dumbles started playing god to try and 'prevent' Tom from going darker, only making things much worse by not giving Tom a chance.

Oh, so they gave him bone-wand in the films? [is going to check...] Poor boy. No wonder he became what he became, with wand like that what's a boy to do?
