Love this but it's so sad and I read this after I just watched the fault in our stars.

Literally crying everywhere. The way you ended this story was beyond beautiful and breathtaking and amazing and heartwrenching and just ahhh. That was such an amazing one shot and you are such a talented writer. Oh my gosh this story was perfect in every angst-y way.

If this happened on the show, it would be soo bittersweet. Dying from a sickness is so human, seeing as everything Elena has gone through so far.

Holy crap, so beautiful. I really like how you set Elena dying of such a natural death that has Nothing to do with the supernatural and how Damon broke down. Seriously, it was so very beautiful. Adored the part at the end where Damon was comforting Jeremy. Job well done!
