That "Nope" "nothing" "Cant think of a thing" gave me life. Your handmaidens are so alive! And each one is a distinct person, which is quite an achievement given the canon.

Wow! Usually, I avoid first-person stories as they tend to sound embarassingly amateurish. But yours is a treat to read! Never does Sabé's voice sound stupid or over-indulging. She describes all that is important and nothing else.

Love the interactions with Padmé and Qui-Gon. The slight antagonism tinted with the respect.

And your Obi-Wan. You have no idea how delighted I am, that her first thought of him is a "cocky show-off". That she did not spiral into a page long essay on his reddish hair and sky-blue eyes. They're human and friendly to each other! THEY TALK! And they have a real chemistry!

This was a fabulous story, I'm so luck to have found it.

I have detested Padmé for awhile now, and your story isn't trying to improve my opinion of her any. I much prefer her handmaidens.

I love Sabé's difficulty in taking compliments, that's one of my innate traits but I never really thought of projecting it onto a character before.

You need to check out the site darthjarjar dot com, and look at the "Original Theory by Lumpawaroo" (or some name like that.) Brings a whole new depth to the prequels.

Okay this is a pretty late review but whatever. You know where you don't ship these two people, but you find so much amazing stuff you fall in love with it and you ship it really hard? That happened to me with your story, and some other fabulous fics featuring Sabe. It's really almost worrying lol.

Honestly, I am surprised that you did not get more reviews. That was an excellent, well told story. I hope you continue to write, grow, and learn in the process. Talent like yours is rare. You can only improve from where you are now. Good luck with anything else you write!

This is such refreshingly well-written fan-fiction. :) Thanks for putting so much effort it! I do love Sabé as a character, and I enjoy the actual plot development, not just raging romance and extreme drama.
