The plot of SPN makes SOOO much more sense if Chuck/'God' is really a rebellious spirit doing its (literal) damnedest to blockade that branch of reality... I'm going to adopt that explanation as my fanon! D

My goodness, not only am I still trying to comprehend that someone decided to cross Narnia over with SPN - I'm trying to comprehend that it was done so *well*! Considering that these are two canons with very different ideas about God and belief, the fusion was very smooth indeed. The idea that Gabe helped Aslan fake Mary's death (and wow, what a strange sentence I just typed) was amazing. I loved that Aslan saved Lenore, too, and that Jimmy and Castiel were reconciled in the end. And also, I *totally* spotted the Princess Bride reference, and the fact that it was out of love that Aslan abandoned the god of the SPN 'verse to its own devices (and I agree, the theology of SPN is seriously whacked, so recasting "God" there as an imposter was probably the only way this could've worked). So much brilliance, on so many levels, here. I guess my only complaint is that I wish this story could have been longer, but that's not really a complaint, is it? ;)

Awesome and powerful story. I think that John and Mary were the only adults to visit Narnia, though; Gabriel doesn't really count as a grownup.

This was an enjoyable read. I wish more people would do Narnian stories and also more supernatural/Narnia crossovers. This was a true gem to find.

This is the perfect Supernatural/Narnia crossover.
As soon as I started watching Supernatural, I thought it had the potential to create an amazing cross-over fic with Narnia, but I couldn't place my finger on *why*. After all, Supernatural is so dark and depressing, and Narnia, even when bad things happen, does have a certain air of innocence- most people think of it as children's literature, after all.
And yet you've managed to do it while keeping true to the aspects and feel of both canons. I'm impressed! This is an instant favorite.
