I made a new account for the sole purpose of subscribing to this story...I hope an update is in store for this story because it has soared to my all time favourite fics...

I can't even begin to describe how perfect this is. The dialogue between retsu and kenpachi flows so beautiful, absolute perfection. Their dynamic and how you've written them I don't think I'll ever get over. Their intimate moments together feel so authentic, they're truly matched for one another. I have so many praises for this story that I can't even think of them all.

Don't mind me binge reading all your works because your style of writing is just...chefs kiss.

This story is one of my most favorite on this site. I hope you haven't abondoned this. I've been re-reading Bleach due to quarantine and even before we found out about KenUno's backstory, I've always shipped them. There is something intriguing about the two of them that makes me appreciate this pair. But alas, we know what Kubo does to the pairings considered "canon". *breaks my heart into pieces*

Anyway, the banter between Kenpachi and Unohana is priceless. Haha I thoroughly enjoyed it and it feels so natural when reading. This was how I also imagined the two of them. Kenpachi trying his best to ruffle Unohana every chance ge gets. And Unohana maintaining her cool which irritates Kenpachi. Yama-jii! Hahaha He's so supportive of them and I love it. I love how you incorporated the canon events. I am specifically excited to know specially with the last chapter how Unohana will react knowing that Kenpachi will be helping the ryokas.

I just finished reading this after three days and I'm so hooked. I recently started watching bleach and am in love with this pairing. You do them so much justice that I don't know how to put it into words. All I can say is thank you for writing this. Every aspect of this story is amazing!

Holy christ almighty, this is my favourite story being published right now! I also just got back into bleach after like five years and you made me fall in luuurv with this pairing again! You write them so well! Kenpachi's reluctance to say the 'big L word' is so in character. And Retsu's past? You handled it like a pro! I never felt antsy to get to the cannon parts while reading because the betrothal plot and Retsu's family was handled so well. As well as the entire defection thing with Urahara. I can't wait to see how Rukia's execution as well as Jushiro and Shunshui's fight with Yamamoto turns out. Also I can't wait for Retsu to kick some major butt! I hope she's careful though, she's preggo after all. I can't wait to see how that gets handled as well! Sorry for my rambling, I just love everything about this! The timeskips are well placed, so is the smut and fluff, and omfg Yamamoto just outing her like that at the meeting? What a bastard! In an endearing way, that is. And omfggggg that wedding gift? he's got such a soft spot for Retsu I love it so much.

This is definitely going on my follow AND fav list, keep up the good work!

I waited and waited to read this, so I could fully focus on this long-lost fic. I'm filled with emotions right now. So bitterly disappointed that your chapters are short. A small sugar-rush of contentment for even getting chp 32. Also, tangy anticipation with Kenpachi's "Tell me." Insert mental fan-girl screams...(here!)
