FUCK I cried. Its like a rollercoaster ride with them feels this anime! This fanfic was excellence. Cant believe, there is so little ficfics on this site.

I just finished watching the Anohana anime, and I ran out of tears. It was just to beautiful. But then I came and read this while listening to the song that inspired this, Secret Base, and despite the fact that I had already dehydrated myself with tears, I somehow managed to cry upon reading this.

I can honestly say, as I read this, I pictured her returning to heaven and was almost close to bawling. I love this so,so much.
The visualization of Jintan's feelings, I could feel his pain. I loved Menma, and as soon as her apparition appeared, I lost it. I couldn't hold in anything.
It was beautiful...just as much as the anime had an effect on me.

Jintan's thoughts were really projecting a sad feel to this one, it was really sad reading him grieve, especially after crying over the ending only a few hours ago, but in return you ended up ignoring the detail of the atmosphere around him, and his reactions to his thoughts.

It was actually pretty good up until the ending though, It was so rushed at the end that it almost seemed like you were making fun of them ( sorry! ). But you just didn't have enough detail there, he didn't react to her saying she loved him, and the scream at the end made it seem like one of those parts where the animations become cartoons and start doing silly gestures. The span of the part where Jintan appears and disappears would only sum up into a single small paragraph, you definitely needed to put more effort there.

I hope this helped, I love this idea, but their reunion was just wayyy too short.
