I really enjoyed this, it felt unique and different while still maintaining consistency with the tone and narrative of the books (for the most part I know they change a lot tonally) but I will say I hated Hermione in this fic. I’m not a big fan of her anyway her presumptivenss, jealousy and bossiness make her a less fun version of Ron a lot of the time, but I felt this took the cake for making me want to kick her out the order and get rid of her, while maintaining canon ideas and characterisation, not saying she’s evil or selling Harry’s secrets for money or a library (wtf I’d that about anyway, Jesus that’s dumb).

I’m rereading this story and I just wanted to say how much I like the description of Godric’s Hallow and of Lily’s magic in this chapter. I feel like too often her role is underestimated. You make her shine in this story andI absolutely love it. Thanks for sharing

I believe I've read this story before, and I've read it now again. Even without the last chapter it's a terrific story. I might not start on the reread immediately, but I'm sure there will be a third reread.
