So 4th of July is my favorite holiday. I adore fireworks. I want them at my wedding. Don't need a fancy dress or cake or flowers, but I want fireworks and a bounce house ;) Thanks to you now I feel like lighting stuff on fire ;) This was awesome and thank you so much for writing it - stupid hiatus, we never get to see them on 4th of July!

I do believe I have rediscovered my love of America's birthday. The one good thing about being away is that when I get back you have all of these stories for me to read! On with my smut marathon!

Technically, America gained indepence on September 7, 1783, when the Treaty of Paris 1783 was signed, giving all British land east of the Mississippi River to the US (Britain still owned the Oregon Country). The 4th of July was the date on which the Declaration of Indepence was signed, declaring our intentions, and, ultimately, declaring war.

That was a really good cstory, really exotic... nice job :)
