FYI: you're writing isn't bad. Some people just need to use context clues if they can't read the story.

I'm not trying to be an expert or something, but i'm writing a story too, struggling to keep an OC not being Mary-Sue-ish id hard, but give her more character than '' Halfa, orphan, nice person '' Make sure she's intresting, add to her flaws, prove to people she's worth their time. By flaws i mean more than being clumsy or painfully oblivious to anything. The tragic backstory, is not a very nice touch, but you can try improoving it so that, let's say, her parents became ghosts, make One of them one of Danny's enemies, i personally vote Pointdexter or even Skulker. Make Danny try to look more at other girls, so that the viewers understand you're trying to give Makenzie and him time to really fall in love. Make Makenzie's character either slowly developing, or try to take note with other OCs you like, draw insparation from how they mature, do the same with yours. I hope my word helps, even though i'm new with OC writing too.

I'm really liking this story, and I hope to be able to read the next chapter soon. : )

I won't lie, I'm worried that your OC might fall into the Mary-Sue category. I'm not trying to be rude, but that's kind of what if feels like. She suddenly shows up in Amity Park with ghost powers; Danny falls for her; she has a suit similar to Danny; and she's an orphan so now everyone is going to have to feel sorry for her and I'm sure Sam might try to do something mean to her which will result in everyone getting mad at Sam and Makenzie will forgive her just to be the nice person.

I'm honestly trying to keep a civil tone about this and I'm sorry for insulting you, I really mean no harm. I just feel that Makenzie might be another copy and paste character.

Interesting. Very interesting. I hope this new ghost girl won't be too much of a Mary Sue. Not that I mind though, just not too much. Nonetheless, I'm pretty excited about this. So, I can't wait for your next update. :D
