I love it. From start to finish.
Honestly, I was about to skip to the prodigious meeting (which was pretty much the end of the whole one-shot) but the build-up to it was so, so worth it. You had your readers feeling just like Kaoru, I'm sure - the anxiety, the antsy glances around, the suspense! Each scene was so entertaining and each character got their worth of screen-time and humor.

I've read a couple of your stories already so I am never disappointed in your writing style or plots... which reminds me, I should go back to those stories and give you your much well-deserved reviews there as well.

Wow, such a great story! The interaction between Kaoru and her father was hilarious!
Loved the way the universe conspired to bring Kenshin and Kaoru together! So sweet ;)

I love high school fics. Wait let me correct that, I love GOOD high sch fics and yours is just plain awesome. I love how you didn't just hash the cliche high sch fics kenshin/Kaoru comes, falls for each other boom kiss wham sex zap babies! You did a really interesting buildup to it and tantalised us with the ending. As much as I would love a continuation of it, this is pretty muh a perfect one-shot.

This might be actually the third high school fic in Ruroken verse that is actually well written and interesting. Well, it is just a short start at the moment, but I got really curious about how you will spin this. So, if the Ruroken mood strikes you, I definitely will be checking out your works.
