oop formatting didn't work sorry, what i mean is that this fic literally influenced my entire childhood. i didn't even watch fairy tail or read it or anything, i just found out about gray and juvia and found this fic and literally all of my fic preferences nowadays are based on this premise. reading it so many years later still gives me the same emotional reaction in the first few chapters as it did the first time. i'm such a sucker for the angst in this, it's just perfect.

I actually want Gray to kinda pull away from them and for Juvia to notice that she's ignoring Gray like she did him or something. Ugggh.
Is it mean of me to say that i want Lyon and Gray to fall for each other too? Like, i really want that. A full on three way would be more fun.

Nice story! I despise love triangles with my very being but this story is pretty intresting. One thing I want to bring up though, if Juvia does end up with Lyon I wonder how it is going to work. They both live in different towns and while I know long distance relationships can work (though very rarely) Juvia does still have feeling for Gray, so how does Lyon not know if Juvia will end up falling back in love with Gray.

Ahh, will you ever continue this? I enjoy it a lot! Although I'm like 2 years late to replying, I understand your problem with Juvia's character development going backwards bc 2 years later, her character is even worse than before with chapter 499 and 500. :') It's mostly due to Mashima's poor writing. I'm not even sure if you still watch/read FT, but if you do, I hope you continue this story one day. Even if the manga sucks, fanfiction makes up for it tenfold bc the manga itself isn't that bad; just Mashima's writing and plot. :')

You captured Minerva's character perfectly in here! After reading this chapter, I can see why she would be so happy to return to a Sabertooth that was full of trust and not competition. You wrote that naval battle and wove. It together beautifully in words. Good job!
