I've read and re-read this so many times in even just the past month it's unbelievable. I've enjoyed it every time, and sometimes I'll think of one of the chapter titles (notably, the last one in particular) and have myself a chuckle. This story is very well written and I've enjoyed every second!

This is a surprising gem. I love the subtilties you're showing with Kenshin's dilemma without needless exposition like most other fics. Although I do hope it's leading up somewhere at the precipice of his character arc, you're doing a great job so far!

I liked this a lot. It definitely got better in the last few chapters as well. Kenshin's personality and beliefs are portrayed so convincingly and I did not expect to like the voice in his head as much as I did! It isn't also interesting to see from the perspective of someone that has little reason to trust or like Gandalf, I for one don't really buy Gandalf's logic about keeping the sword hidden after the point at which the other clothes were returned for the journey away from the shire. But then again he is a clever wizard and it is so delightfully fun to be biased in favor of our protagonist!

I really enjoyed this story - especially your take on Kenshin and his alter ego. I loved the scene where he couldn't keep hold of the "western style" sword. And the language lessons. Hysterical! I do hope you decide to continue this tale of two worlds.
