I just have no words. After everything they went through you finish this story with that letter? I knew there was something suspicious in Andrew's death but ... what..I just... Arnold is the responsible. And now Ada and her brother have to live knowing that. It just too much. I thought Helga let Andrew go long ago. She even told herself that. I thought even if Andrew wouldn't died she still definitely would choose Arnold over him. I just have nothing else to say.

As much as I loved the writing style and storyline, I really didn't want Arnold to get Helga in this fic. I wanted her to be with Andrew. The ending was a twist that I had not expected. It was a good twist ending as in the fact that it disturbed me to no end. Some characters were inconsistent, but all together, it was a wonderful story.

Good story with a sad ending. Arnold was an absolute abusive scumbag, but ithe made for an interesting story.

i personally didnt want arnold and helga ending up together i was kind of rooting for helga and andrew till you killed him off to get her with arnold im normally all for arnold and helga but in this story he seems abusive and manipulative

Ada's personality is inconsistent too. Its interestjng at first because its not the usual story. Rhonda is inconsistent too,,,, when she want to get together with arnold i was like wtf. So much for the wisdom words she said to arnold. Nice concept but yeah for me if the story will have to get dark helga never should have ended w arnold,,,

Hi there! I don't know how long ago this ff was but this is really good. I live in New Zealand too and I was delighted to read this recognizing names, places and community services. Anyhoo back to the story, this is the only HelgaxArnold ff that I wished they didn't end up together, for obvious reasons especially because Arnold is a bloody scumbag. Nevertheless, this is pretty good.
