This was a really nice read. Somehow, it felt relaxing (yeah, is that a weird way to put it?) Anyway, good job!

I don't get it: "Midorima's growth as well as Takao's perceptive self". There's something more that needs to be dug into. Why did Midorima threw away the transceiver? And it's kind of cliche to describe people's growth through their act of through away something from childhood.
Anyhow, I like the part on Midorima childhood. (The second part feels like you wrote it in a rush :?)

...Hweh... This was so beautiful. Kurobasu has its charm by giving every character an intricate backstory, but you really made it possible with Takao and Midorima. Not much about them is revealed in the manga, after all. Great job with your one-shot!

I always wondered how these two managed to find each other. I mean, Takao is that kind of easy going person who drags others along, but why Midorima? I love it when one starts looking into stuff that usually doesn't matter in a deeper way, you're always bound to find out something interesting. Great job with the way you handled the characters; also, this makes me think.
