Vale not surviving was super disappointing. I never liked Obsidian, and I was waiting for him to die so we could get back to Vale’s story.
This story was about Vale and like, I wanted to favorite this. But with Vale dying I don’t have a character to make me want to reread it again.
It was so long, and I was waiting for a satisfying conclusion with Vale, since we got to know her and her family for 80 chapters. If it ended with her death fine, but continuing on makes it feel cheap. It wasn’t satisfying.
At least if she died in a cooler way, but her death felt like it was just for the side character Obsidian because you liked him more than your main character.

This is such a great story! If you ever feel like coming back to it, I’d be very excited. Thanks for writing it! :)

Hope you find the motivation/time/inspiration to continue this some day. :) Such a good story.

Shit, it hurts when you get attached to doomed characters already. Vale is such a nice-ish person but also a very realistic character (hoping someone else other than her family to take the fall? bad. But super understandable), man this'll hurt like heck! *bitter tears*
