It's very interesting to see the different ways John's loved ones handle his death. Sherlock refuses to believe that John is absolutely dead, distracting himself from remembering it, and Harry drowns herself in alcohol while coldly evaluating the life John's made for himself- even saying that she always knew she would have to bury her baby brother before turning away without shedding a tear.
I wonder how this is going to play out.

This was a really incredible fic to read. It felt like I was watching a movie or a set of episodes from the series itself. It made me cry in more than one place, including how it was believably painful to watch Sherlock fall apart when John 'died'.

I loved reading all the characters we already knew and all the ones that were created just in this fic. I think my favorite parts were when John was exploring Holmes Manor, when John was first settling into the US and earning his team's trust, and when Sherlock was putting the pieces together that John was really alive. It was cool seeing the small ways John would exercise his own powers of observation, since it could be used as a way for the reader to get to know the characterssetting, and to let us know how much John was missing Sherlock even at the best of times. Also, seeing John be badass in his own right is absolutely always fun.

hmm this is getting interesting...when i first found this story and looked at how many chapter there were...I didn't think I'd be able to stick with it after the first 2 or 3...but this is intriguing.

This was a very good chapter. Kudos.
(And I'm glad you included the "I would've done the same" bit, because he really would have done the same. He did do the same in non-au situations. You're great)

Interesting premise. I especially liked the idea of Sherlock actually going to trial. I loved the writing with the original characters in new situations. I lost some of my interest later in the story as the focus on original characters and on the operation increased as opposed to the focus being on the series characters (not just John and Sherlock but Mycroft, Lestrade, etc).

That was amazing! Just like the rest of the story! I absolutely loved it! You're writing is fantastic and very descriptive, the characters were all great (including the OCs), and the plot was intriguing and detailed and believable. Thank you so much for sharing! Is this story finished now? One part of me says that's a cruel ending, the other part of me says it's fitting for the story. I hope it's not over though. Or at least that you'll be posting a new story soon.

This needs more reviews! And a new chapter! This is one of the most well written stories on this site. One of my favorites.
